We want to create a smooth and easy path to launching your book club. The items below highlight the steps you can expect along the way.
1.) Discovery
- Client conversation with Zach, our CEO, to learn how an online book club can impact communities
- Discuss goals, personalization preferences, and any questions
- PBC Guru sends Memorandum of Understanding
2.) Planning
- Introductions and planning call with Onboarding Specialist and Book Club Operations Manager to discuss timeline, first book, and next steps
- Client emails high resolution photo and logo
- PBC Guru builds sign-up web page and online forum website
- Client emails Operations Specialist with any edits to language on sign-up page and online forum
- PBC Guru provides draft marketing emails to use for book club promotion
3.) Marketing
- 2 – 3 weeks before kick-off date, client sends marketing email announcing book club
- Client implements social media marketing or other marketing strategies
- PBC Guru Operations Specialist follows up about marketing progress and answers any questions
- 1 week before launch date, client sends “last chance” marketing email
4.) Launch
- Client or a member of client’s team sign-ups for book club to receive book content emails
- PBC Guru launches book club with kick off email to participants
- Client is given access to the Admin Dashboard at pbc.guru/admin
- PBC Guru emails client the invoice
