Marketing to Members
First and foremost, you can market to the initial base you reached during your launch period. If you are an alumni organization, we also recommend marketing to new graduates during May or the summer following graduation.
PBC Guru recommends marketing as broadly as you can. Our main recommendation when it comes to marketing is not to perform segmented marketing unless your book club is only meant for a subset of your constituents. Book clubs thrive when they include a diversity of thought, background, and identity, so keeping your club as open as possible helps pave the way for engaged members for many reading periods to come.
